Former Browns security Jermaine Whitehead has apologized for his alarming post-game Twitter rant.
Whitehead was minimize by Cleveland on Monday after he posted a number of threatening and profane messages on social media following Sunday’s 24-19 loss in Denver.
On his Instagram web page, the 26-year-old participant stated his behaviour was “out of character for me” and that he was “deeply regretful.” Whitehead stated he was annoyed by the best way he performed, including that though he had a damaged hand “that’s no excuse for my actions.”
A starter in all eight video games this season, Whitehead apologized to teammates, coaches and “most of all of the followers and children that inspire me to even pursue this dream.”
The Browns signed Whitehead one 12 months in the past after he was launched by Inexperienced Bay. The Packers minimize him for punching a New England lineman in a sport.
